The Liverpool Art Journal was started in March 2009 as a monthly production and focuses on critical debate, creative writing and interesting text in the field of fine art and aesthetics. Although originating in Liverpool submission is open to all and themes can range across the board. It was created and is edited by Tracey Eastham an artist working with collage based in Liverpool .
The Liverpool Art Journal is currently working with UCLan students as part of the 2009 AA2A scheme to develop a series of journals.
Also, a stream of special issues have started recently called ‘Collaborations’ which result from the journal working with other artists/writers and artist/writer groups.
